Championship |
Thomas Phillips wins the 2004 Snipe Junior National Championship.Seven juniors skipped the Snipes on Sunday in good
but switching wind condition. Thomas finishes first after 6 races with 11.50 points,
second is Jamie Liddell with 11.75 points and third is Ben Myers with 14.75 points.
Congratulations to these juniors and to
all participants including: Rosanna Caley, Dillon Christie, Alyson Myers and Megan Wallas.
Thank you to the seven Snipe's owners for
crewing and hiking so well!

| Sunfish Junior National
Championship - July 24 & 25 The Nassau Yacht Club is hosting the Sunfish Junior National Championship
on July 24 & 25.
Registration at the NYC on Friday 23rd
between 08:30AM and 03:00PM. All skippers must be registered before the skipper's meeting
at 09:30AM on Saturday the 24th. Entrance fee is $15.00/person. Call Donna Knowles at 393

| 14th Annual Homer Lowe Memorial
Regatta (by Liann Key
Kaighin) Fifteen sailors showed up on Saturday, July 3, 2004 for the 14th Annual Homer
Lowe Memorial Regatta, held off Pelican Beach, Marsh Harbour. Ten entrants traveled via
the fast ferry from Nassau, and five local sailors tried valiantly to defend the title won
last year by Jim Kaighin of Marsh Harbour.(more and results) |
| Sail Fun Day @ RNSC last Saturday Has been a great success and a lot of fun for
everyone. A few more people are keen to participate in our sailing programs and there is a
real interest to have ladies only racing Sunfish on a regular basis. This is great news.
